Trutech Sucks

Tonight I bought a Sony DVD/VCR combo player for the living room, a twin of the one in my bedroom which has served me well for some time. This was to replace the piece of shit we got for the living room six months ago that decided to expire on us. That's what I get for trying to be cheap and buying a brand I'd never heard of before (specifically, Trutech) instead of paying an extra twenty bucks for a name brand. The ♥G♥ called to complain, but they (Trutech) wanted fifty bucks just to look at the damn thing. I read an article a while ago that said that companies should have someone whose full-time job it is to do Web searches for the name of their company and/or product paired with the word "sucks." So, for instance, someone working for this Trutech outfit would find the following:

Trutech sucks. Trutech sucks. Trutech sucks. Trutech sucks. Trutech sucks. Trutech sucks. (These people think Trutech sucks, too.) Trutech sucks. Trutech sucks. Trutech sucks. Trutech sucks. Trutech sucks. Trutech sucks donkey balls. Trutech sucks. Trutech sucks. Trutech sucks. Trutech sucks.

I bought a the trutech dvd recorder (tt1620) back in June 2006, used it off and on, 6 times over the past 5 months. then today (october 20th 2006) i tryed to watch a commerical DVD (Click) and it would sit on loading for about 30 - 45 seconds, then display "no disc". I tryed over and over again to get it to load and it never did. Maybe trutech should spend more money on their internal electronics instead of making the back text glow in the dark.

I just did a search for "trutech sucks" and this site came up. I needed a CD player/radio for work and bought the trutech since it was only $25. Well I got home, opened it up, tried to play a CD but it just spazzes out and makes strange noises instead of playing the CD. Piece of shit. Im more aggravated about the fact that I have to go back to that dump Target and fight the idiot soccer moms for a parking spot in order to return the thing. I guess it serves me right for being a cheap asshole and buying a no name brand. Fuck!

TruTech does suck. I bought the 32" Wide LCD and spent $900 bucks and worked great and then the other morning it just got stuck in standby (after only 4 months). TruTech said they will repair it, but I have to ship it at cost to me to Buffalo, and then god knows if I will ever see it again. I may as well kiss that TV good buy and if they do fix it what is it going to last another 4 months

I bought the dvd/tv combo for my daughter. The remote broke and it is not compatible with ANY universal remotes. Also, about a month after I bought it the DVD player stopped working. It just blinks "wrong disc"?????
Horrible. Target should be ashamed that they are selling these products.

TRUTECH SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I bought a trutech DVD player from target online with a $30 gift card from christmas - sweet I thought, what a score, free dvd player for my room, being as my roomates can be douchey - WRONG. I popped in a DVD the other night to watch with my girlfriend and some pizza in bed, and what does the sonofabitch do..go into "wrong disc" mode. I tried everything, unplugging, cursing, everything. So I hit the net and sure enough, there is a sea of problems with the like "wrong disc"...never again NEVER. If anyone read this do not DO NOT waste your money on this piece of shit, its good for pissing you off , thats all. Spend the extra few bucks and name brand it for sure

What the hell man? I work at Target just to make some extra money while I'm in college. Trutech may suck, but I certainly don't wanna get shot/smacked around by an angry customer. Yes I agree Target should be ashamed they're selling garbage like that.Instead a better idea would be to chuck it through some windows at Trutech corporate headquarters or something. Remember, I and my coworkers make no decisions as to what Target orders or sells. If it were up to me, I wouldn't sell it. I recommend not buying store brands whether it be Target or anywhere else.

my mom bought a TruTech TV/ DVD combo when we got home we opened the box up and unpacked it. Sure enough the TV had been returned and had a DVD in it. Well after using the DVD player the DVD started to skip and the pixels would deform. We decided it was the dvd we changed DVD's and it was the DVD player so we bought an external DVD player now the TV is in Stand by mode and will only turn on if turned on and off a bunch of times
